AlpineAccording to William E. Loy, Alpine# was executed by Henry Schuenemann, staff designer/punch-cutter for the Cleveland Type Foundry.¹ The earliest specimen examined by THP was published in The Inland Printer of December 1885 noting that the size advertised was “not shown in former issues.”

THP Partner Alan Prescott did his usual masterful job on this dual-case alphabet with charming dotted accents.
