Corinthian was revived by THP Partner Nick Curtis in 2014. Nick astutely identified Viennese as a matching “plain” version and combined them as a single font.
Nicolette Gray attributes these caps-only European tuscans to Reed & Fox (Fann Street Foundry, successors to Besley). She dates Corinthian c1869; Viennese, c1871 (registered). As shown in the 1874 catalog, both faces are marked “registered.”
There is also a version of Brevier Viennese done by Johannes Lang (Languste Fonts) and Ellmer Stefan (The Pyte Foundry) provided as free download.
