1885, Marder, Luse

I am interested in reviving this face. Does anyone know whether this has been done?

CriticAnother good revival candidate that has not been done AFAIK.

This appealing stylized egyptian was designed by William F. Capitain [1851¹–1915+], who patented it in March–June, 1885 [USPTO D16122]. He assigned the rights to Marder, Luse & Co, his employer since November 1874.¹

It was advertised in The Inland Printer dated July 1885. Lack of a lower case is balanced by abundant alternates, catch-words and cute curly numerals.

Critic has been revived with many alternate characters, some of which were included in the original charset and some invented by myself for consistency: JPEG below
