Conveying “packaged” fonts plus marketing images to THP presents a challenge for developers with large collections of existing commercial revivals. Early explorations focused on Project Send, a relatively new Google app that is still poorly documented and too difficult to manage at this stage of “code-clueless” website development…
These alternatives are suggested:
Dropbox.com. Upload to this secure, free “cloud” storage service (no capacity limit); share it with THP. Please contact me for a secure eMail address. Once you are notified that your “stash” is safely stored on the typeheritage.com/marketplace sub-domain server, delete it.
Gift Certificate/Coupon—why didn’t I think of this Easy Way before? Authorize an online vendor (myfonts.com, etc.) to issue THP permission to download your revival fonts.
The Old-Fashioned Way. “Snail-mail” a CD with packaged ZIP-files and images. For the address, please contact me.
Any other way that you prefer…
It will be time-consuming to enter everything into the system, organize and test links to each font for browsing plus purchase options, so sooner is better!
