Herman Ihlenburg’s Dynamo is closely related to Fillet [left] which he patented in July–September 1890 [USPTO D20169]. By 06 February 1891, he had completed design of Dynamo and applied for the patent; it was issued in early March [USPTO D20547]. Rights to both were assigned to MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan.¹

No existing digital revival has been discovered.
