Fillet designed by H. Ihlenberg for MS&J (1890). Any information on this typeface?
I remember seeing something similar in THP before… or was it another typeface?

Attached is a one-line specimen.

Hi jch02140,

The design for Fillet was patented in July–September 1890 by Herman Ihlenburg, who assigned the rights to MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan. Several revivals are available:

Dynamo=FilletThe letterforms are nearly identical to those of Dynamo. Together, these two fonts would make a nice pair for mix ‘n’ match layouts!

P.S. I’m curious about the source of specimens you have posted recently. If you are willing to share info about it, please respond to the topic in the Resources Forum (temporary subject “(Title of Book”).

Thanks again for your valued activities in the THP Chapel. Your inquiries keep the developers (and me!) busy, and they pique the interest of other site visitors who look forward to purchasing the revivals discussed.
