Robert

My revival of Geometric Condensed is complete with alternates, ligatures, diacritics and fractions. It was originally cast by Central Type Foundry:
Geometric Condensed

Yours truly,
Robert

Thanks, Robert—this is the last of the Geometric family to be revived!

James A. St. John of Central TF patented this design in 1882-1883 [USPTO D13557]. Mullen writes that Gustave F. Schroeder and William W. Jackson of Philadelphia cut Geometric# (1881) and two of the four 1882-1883 derivatives: G. Antique# and G. Condensed#.

He credits Jackson with design of G. Antique# and Schroeder with design/cutting of G. Italic#.¹ The fifth one, G. Gothic#, was not patented and no other info is available in the literature. My hunch is that that Schroeder designed it and that Jackson also designed Geometric# and G. Condensed#.
